- The Meowlnir's name is a portmanteau of "Meow", the sound a cat makes, and "Mjölnir", the name of the hammer used by the thunder god Zeus in Norse mythology.
- The Meowlnir was likely one of the first weapons made for the game, as it already existed in April of 2021.[1]
