Boss

A Boss in Mewgenics is a challenging enemy encountered in the last level of their respective chapter. Generally, they're far stronger than an average enemy, but have special properties and abilities others don't possess.

Mechanics

When a player enters a boss fight, they will be presented with an animated intro, showing off the boss to the player as it threatens them. One of the player's cats in their squad responds to the boss' taunt, just before the battle initiates. Additionally, instead of playing the normal battle music, instead the player will listen to the version of the current chapter's song but with lyrics, where as the other versions are instrumental.
